Job Description
The role of the Pricing Analyst is to ensure the link between product management and price management. More specifically, you will be responsible to:
- Initiate effective collaboration with market managers.
- Prepare and analyze changes in costs and margins.
- Present the reality of the resale structure in worksheets;
- Detect and report margin and cost problems;
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy of pricing data;
- Create descriptions of new products in the right product category; Specifications for entry into the computer system;
- Compile and analyze price update processing times to identify bottlenecks: Supplier, Product Manager, MIS, Purchasing Clerk. Find and propose solutions;
- Analyze weekly « discrepancy » reports to determine the source of problems and make the necessary corrections.
- Analyze monthly prices of national promotions to ensure that there is no conflict with regional pricing structures and propose new prices;
Qualifications
To join our team, you need:
- College or university degree in Operations Management, Logistics or Administration.
- Very strong knowledge of Excel and databases;
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written. In this role, you will regularly collaborate with internal clients across Canada.
