Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for a group of stores across Canada. They will have to analyze the data and adjust the parameters of the inventory planning system, to generate an assortment suggestion that will optimize inventory and thus store sales. As a business partner for our network, the inventory planner works in close collaboration with the store owners or managers, territory sales managers and the distribution centers sales management team.

More precisely the inventory planner will have the following responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and optimizing the inventory planning system parameters (PULSE);
  • Discussing with stores of their sales strategy according to their specific market;
  • Ensuring that established deadlines are met;
  • Producing one-time and monthly analyzes to better guide store decisions;
  • Training store inventory managers on how to use the inventory planning system (PULSE) and the supply system (TAMS)

Qualifications

To join our team, you need:

  • Hold a college or university degree in administration or equivalent;
  • Have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a consulting service role or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written. In this role, you will regularly collaborate with internal clients across Canada.
  • Mastery of the MS Office suite (Excel, Access, Outlook);
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize;
