Job Description
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Warranty Clerk is responsible for processing returns, warranties, and transfers in a timely and accurate manner. This role plays a key part in improving processing efficiency, accuracy, and completion rates to help eliminate non-moving inventory and ensure stores receive upgraded, in-demand products quickly.
This position pays between $19.20 and $21.60 per hour (depending on your qualifications). We offer a range of attractive benefits and corporate discounts, as well as training throughout your career to support and guide your professional development.
- Process and verify returns, warranties, and transfers in accordance with company guidelines and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records for shipments, inventory movements, and stock transfers.
- Collaborate with the Distribution Centre, vendors, Finance/Accounting, Sales, and branch teams to ensure accurate processing and credit reconciliation.
- Communicate with customers, branches, and vendors regarding returns and warranty matters.
- Support regional inventory initiatives and drive continuous improvement in processing accuracy and turnaround times
Qualifications
To join our team, you need:
- Experience in inventory control, returns, warranties, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP or inventory system experience is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
