Client Account Manager, Retail E-Commerce -West Coast

As a Client Account Manager, you’ll work with a team of account managers and sellers at Twitter, supporting some of our largest performance advertising customers. This role will be responsible for growing the business, consulting on full-funnel (brand and performance) marketing campaigns, and looking for new opportunities to drive innovation. 

Job Description

 

  • Support top Fortune 500 advertisers — understanding their objectives, recommending best practices, and developing effective campaigns.

  • Educate clients on how to use Twitter’s advertising products, best practices, and how to develop effective campaigns.

  • Execute, optimize, and analyze advertising programs using internal tools and dashboards.

  • Resolve campaign issues in a timely and productive manner, and identify and implement process improvements.

  • Manage contracts and renewals, and assist our Sales Finance organization with payables and collections.

  • Provide feedback to our product and tools teams to help us scale our advertising platform.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for performance campaign set up across the vertical 

  • Keep a pulse on day-to-day campaign performance and provide actionable optimization recommendations to advertisers & sales teams through clear communications.

  • Connect customers' success goals with campaign strategies that will help them achieve desired results on our platform.

  • Conduct thorough analytical research and offer detailed recommendations to help identify what works and scale campaign success for our customers.

  • Assist customers in setting up, running, and analyzing A/B tests that can validate their hypotheses on how to achieve their goals on Twitter.

  • Work cross-functionally with our Product team to uncover new ways to make optimization easier for our customers.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Twitter’s Ads UI, analytical tools, auction, products, and more.


 

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience managing digital marketing programs for advertisers or their agencies

  • Demonstrated ability to create, develop, and enhance customer relationships

  • Ability to manage large customer relationships and manage through conflict, driving groups to collective business decision

  • Ability to dive into large data sets, uncover insights, and communicate impactful recommendations with attention to detail.

  • Fluency in the goals behind performance advertising media buying, including customer acquisition, retention, or ROAS.

  • A great teammate who can handle their workload independently and collaborate well with a pod of CPs and other CAMs.

  • Proven track record translating marketing objectives into results for advertisers. Demonstrated experience effectively optimizing marketing campaigns by analyzing performance and recommending adjustments to key performance drivers.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and a bias for proactively resolving issues

  • Aptitude, creativity, and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams with minimal supervision

  • Deep understanding of measurement, attribution, mobile app conversion tracking, website conversion tracking, and the common challenges.

  • Experience working with direct response, eCommerce, or mobile app promotion advertising campaigns.
