Twitter’s Publisher Partnerships team is looking for someone excited to sit at the intersection of the media business and engineering, helping key partners integrate with Twitter’s Ad-Free Articles and future offerings.

Twitter Blue is building a great experience around reading and writing beyond 280 characters that funds writers, journalists, news organizations and the publisher ecosystem. On this exciting, fast-paced team you’ll be meeting with the largest publishers in the world to help them deliver better experiences to Twitter users while generating more revenue.

Job Description

What you’ll do: Become an expert on how Twitter’s offerings for media sites work, especially Ad-Free Articles Participate in introductory calls with publishing organizations to answer questions, build confidence, and help chart a path that fits their needs.

Work closely with external partners’ product and engineering teams to guide implementation of Ad-Free Articles and related products to meet partner’s technical and product constraints Contribute to technical documentation and bringing feedback from the field back to technical and partner teams.

Evaluate and understand partner sites to form integration plans Verify integrations of partner sites using knowledge of expected technical and business-level behavior Collaborate closely with internal product, engineering, and business teams to design new products that support partner needs.

Drive and track a variety of in-flight work and projects with partners across companies and teams Qualifications.

Who you are: You are able to code in at least HTML and JavaScript and have familiarity with HTTP, cookies, privacy, web standards, and using the inspector to understand a web site. You deeply understand the basics of running a content website, such as CDNs, CMSs or Wordpress, analytics and advertising tags, paywalls, link shortening, etc.

You can contribute to documentation, SDKs, open source code examples and other material to assist partners integrations. You can diagnose product bugs, issues, and feature requests. Be able to facilitate the discussion within internal and external teams towards resolutions. You are an excellent communicator in writing and verbally. You can communicate technical concepts to audiences of varying technical ability and seniority. You are organized and take initiative, you love to navigate ambiguity and juggle many tasks in parallel, and you help bring clarity and order. You are confident and empathetic weighing the needs of users, engineers, and businesses. You have strong presentation skills and can speak to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of seniority. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and marketing teams.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

Applicants with strong experience beyond these basic qualifications may be considered for this role at higher levels.

  • 4+ years in partner/solutions/support engineering, developer relations or applicable customer facing roles for a technical product.
  • 2+ years of solid experience with JavaScript B.S. or higher (or equivalent work experience).
  • Solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs. and HTML
