Job Description

The Group Program Manager, Regulatory Compliance will lead delivery of complex initiatives related to regulatory requirements. As part of the Health Products and Services organization, you will manage a dynamic group of Program Managers to ensure coordination across Product, Operations, Engineering, Counsel, and other internal teams to execute on company and org priorities. You’ll work directly with leaders across the organization to build out the Regulatory Compliance program strategy and accompanying processes to enable timely execution of product deliverables and operational plans. You’ll lead your team to successfully translate specific regulatory compliance requirements into milestone-based delivery plans and support them from planning through execution.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead functional delivery of regulatory and compliance initiatives in line with company and org priorities

  • Work cross-functionally and globally with Product, Trust & Safety, Engineering, Counsel, and other internal teams to ensure coordinated execution

  • Develop and deploy holistic cross-functional strategies to fulfill compliance requirements from a product and operational perspective for emerging statutory regulations

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of process design and driving efficiencies

  • Drive continuous improvement and deliver against organizational KPIs

  • Remove barriers to success for a high-performing team of program managers by ensuring strong cross-functional partnerships and alignment to organizational goals

  • Develop your team by providing mentorship, guidance and career development

Who You Are

You are an experienced leader of people and programs with a strong track record of delivering highly complex initiatives requiring inputs from a broad set of stakeholders. You know when to engage with which cross-functional teams, what questions to ask, where to probe, and how to implement the most effective processes to ensure effective planning and execution. You have a passion for leading teams and understand how to match resources to cover the most important priorities while providing career development opportunities to your team. You have a strong business acumen, including an understanding of business goals, metrics, and pressures, and the ability to align your area of ownership to the high-level strategy and environment. You’re passionate about Twitter and motivated by the mission of protecting the public conversation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

  • 8-10 years’ experience in program or product management, with at least 2 years leading teams

  • Knowledge and/or experience with regulatory compliance preferred

  • Experience with agile methodologies and productivity tools; JIRA experience preferred

  • Highly skilled at communicating and building relationships with a variety of stakeholders of different roles and levels

  • Ability to successfully navigate ambiguity and complexity, driving alignment while remaining flexible to changing priorities and environment

  • Excellent EQ; track record of coaching and mentoring program/project managers

The applicable salary range for each U.S.-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 4 tiers according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary ranges for this role are set forth below. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Tier A: USD $186,000 - USD $259,000
  • Tier B: USD $175,000 - USD $247,000
  • Tier C: USD $167,000 - USD $234,000
  • Tier D: USD $157,000 - USD $220,000

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
