You will be a key member of the financial planning and analysis team supporting our Infrastructure function. You will serve as  finance leader for our Platform team supporting finance activities with networking engineering, SRE, Cloud and on Prem planning and DC supply teams.

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Directly manage finance team (3-4 members) supporting the Platform engineering team.
• Support Infrastructure savings and efficiency projects across the organization
• Manage quarterly forecasting and annual budget process for capex and opex. Deliver quality analysis to explain monthly and quarterly variances.
• Develop key financial and/or business metrics (Infra cost breakdown by workloads, cloud/on prem etc). Develop Infra budget for Engineering organizations and monitor progress against progress.
• Design, develop and deliver reports for Eng VPs and Finance leadership on a regular schedule and on an as-needed basis.
• Serve as a subject matter expert representing the team you support on capacity and long term data center as well as cloud strategy.
• Provide decision support through scenario modeling and ad-hoc analysis
• Desired background in cloud or on-prem infrastructure, experience of supporting Engineering and Product teams is a big plus.

• B.S. or higher with an excellent academic record
• 7 - 10 years of work experience, preferably in a financial capacity
• Prior experience of being a people manager
• Experience in working with an Engineering, Internet Infrastructure, or IT focused organization
• Experience in automation in Excel and/or Google Docs preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively across different functions
• Strong written and spoken communication skills; ability to connect with team members
• Desire to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
