Job Description

As a Director of the Finance Systems organization, you will be joining the Core Applications leadership team at Twitter leading the optimization and maturation of a global ERP deployment.  You will set technical standards in accordance with industry standards while ensuring processes and frameworks are put in place to operate efficiently and with cost conscious leadership at the forefront of your efforts.  You are expected to be a strategic partner and advisor to your senior business leaders maintaining alignment to company objectives. You will consistently deliver measurable portfolio improvements through operational metrics and timely delivery of business outcomes.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a team of functional experts charged with the development of blueprint capabilities, enabling strong collaboration with business teams and consistently improving business processes and ERP solutions through the deployment of engineered solutions.

  • Take accountability for operational support and drive decision making through strong process adoption and data-driven conversations

  • Establish SMART goals for team members and continually evaluate performance.

  • Improve processes for repeatable deployments of the ERP blueprint to sustain business operations and support the growth directives of the organization

  • Develop a strategy around OCI to support dynamic provisioning and enable the shifting of workloads to a hosted model providing resilience and increased recoverability  

  • Digitize the portfolio with dashboards that provide real-time insights on the health of the enterprise on demand data to senior leaders

  • Drive deeper adoption of Lean and Agile principles to improve the speed and quality of our deployments

  • Foster a product focused mentality within the G&A space and with the business embracing a strong culture of first-time quality execution.

  • Partner with Finance to ensure all project related expense and costs are properly allocated, capitalized and kept in line with forecast commitments

  • Engage with senior leadership to present insights on project efforts, strategic product roadmaps, identify key grow areas and address risks to the delivery of new capabilities

  • Ensure adherence to corporate standards including Legal, Data Privacy, Compliance, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of leading and developing high performing teams within agile organizations

  • 7+ years supporting large enterprise projects and services; understands the nuances of strong and timely project delivery balanced against sound operational rigor and user experience

  • A customer service mindset with focus on developing and improving data and analytics technology and outcomes that are driven by customer needs and requirements

  • Strong conflict resolution, negotiating and influencing skills

  • Ability to adjust communication to reach all levels of an organization

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology subject area preferred, MBA desirable

  • ScrumMaster and Lean Six Sigma desired

  • Preference will be given to candidates with business operations and with proven track records in highly regulated regulated industries (i.e. Financial Services)
