Who We Are

Twitter is looking for an outstanding seasoned Salesforce Architect to help lead our CRM teams. We develop the core of Sales, Finance, Service and HR tools operating on a scale rarely seen by Salesforce engineers. We implement and support applications for our internal customers to meet their operational needs. What You’ll Do

You’ll be a leader driving the technology and design strategy across our global CRM teams. You’ll frequently interact with operations and business stakeholders  to develop scalable applications and architecture within Salesforce and related CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Estimate projects and analyze the short and long-term impacts of various tactical options. Translate business strategy to Salesforce innovative solutions and roadmaps while having accountability for the solutions and their outcomes, including related measures, metrics, and dashboards.

  • Ability to solve company wide issues or provide solutions for broad, complex org and company wide architectural challenges. 

  • Identify solutions and design high-quality architecture that aligns technology with business needs and are consistent with enterprise technology standards. 

  • Defines development guidelines and coding best practices across multiple CRM teams

  • Define overall security posture of the CRM applications, and ensure that these applications comply with Twitter’s organizational system and information security policies

  • Stay current with technological developments within the Salesforce platform, monitoring and planning for the organization to utilize new release functionality as it becomes available.

  • Develop and execute Salesforce data management and retention strategy

  • Drive Salesforce Licensing strategy across domains 

  • Mentors and guides engineers by example.

  • Writes comprehensive design documents and shepherds them from ideation through development. 

  • Responsible for solution governance, managing technical debt, and ensuring high reuse of common features.

Qualifications

  • Highly Certified: System and Application Architect, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

  • 10+ years of working with Salesforce in developing complex, secure, scalable, integrated applications on the Force.com platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud,  Experience Cloud, Analytics, AppExchange products).

  • Deep understanding of Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Salesforce APIs, web services, packaging and the Lightning Platform.

  • Experience designing/building/supporting CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins and SFDX.

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Extensive experience with proven ability to learn and embrace new technologies, applications, and solutions.

  • Quick learner and a team player who can effectively work with cross functional teams.

  • Knowledge of AdobeSign, Apttus CLM, Mulesoft is a plus.

  • Exposure to, Provar, Scala, and ETL tools is a plus.

  • Proficient in integrating with third party tools and technologies.

  • Solid multi-tasking, time management & organization skills with the ability to lead multiple and often changing priorities as well as the ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
