Job Description

As an Information Security Business Operations team member, you will help drive critical initiatives and work closely with leaders to ensure operational effectiveness. You will serve as a consultant and trusted advisor bringing key insights. You will use data and intuition to anticipate what may lay ahead and make useful recommendations. This role is an important part of continuously evolving the way we do security to keep our users, systems and data safe.

  • Contribute to defining organizational strategy and identifying key priorities that deliver on company goals
  • Lead organizational change of operational norms focusing on consistency, cost-effectiveness, efficiency and building alignment with other parts of the company
  • Help drive quarterly planning and provide input towards ongoing decisions related to budget health and workforce management
  • Partner with leaders across the security organization to assist with the development of business cases and operational roadmaps
  • Facilitate alignment by summarizing differing opinions, moving conversations forward, and clarifying ambiguous situations
  • Handle the relationship with Sourcing and Procurement for active monitoring of third-party relationships
  • Support the creation of prepared materials and content for an executive and company-wide audiences
  • Lead operational reviews with increasing focus on accountability
  • Build networks and relationships with Strategy & Operations teams in other parts of the company and demonstrates the value of being connected to solve company-wide issues

Qualifications

  • 8+ years technology-related strategic planning, business management or consulting experience
  • 4+ years program management experience especially across multiple organizations
  • Strong business, technical and financial competence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience speaking publicly to senior leaders
  • Experience collaborating with analytic teams to identify key operational metrics and define outcome-based key results
  • High-level knowledge of information security functions, methodologies and tools
  • Experience in organizational change across a distributed team
  • Extremely detail oriented in solving exciting problems
  • Collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to bring people along
