Who We are The Threat Detection and Vulnerability Platform team are software engineers who build, maintain and enhance Twitter’s detection and response capabilities. We process data and events at large scale, build automation platforms and enable security engineers to efficiently secure Twitter.

What You’ll Do:

You will help lead, design and build the next generation of Twitter’s threat detection and vulnerability management platform. This includes working with partner teams to identify requirements and collaboratively design the new platform. You help the team ensure appropriate monitoring, logging and alerts are in place to support the platform. You'll influence Twitter’s engineering roadmap, share your passion for securing Twitter’s infrastructure, and are excited to teach and ready to learn.

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or closely related field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years software engineering experience, with expertise in software engineering standards (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
• Cross team collaboration experience
• Strong technical leadership skills
• Solid experience working with distributed systems 
• Proficiency with object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Understanding of Databases (Sql and NoSql) Strong and effective communication skills 
• Proficient in at least one of the following languages: GoLang, Python, Java, Scala

Preferred Technologies

• The ideal candidate would have some experience with the following: GCP Dataflow and/or Apache Beam Terraform Tensorflow Threat detection BigQuery
