Twitter’s Contingent Workforce is a unicorn team. Our team responsibilities are largely bifurcated between taking care of our incredible flexible contract workforce & performing Strategic Sourcing tasks for internal clients using outsourced professional services. One of our team recently fulfilled their career goal of moving into a leadership position within the Strategic Sourcing team, and so we’re now looking for a new Strategic Sourcing professional to join our team and continue their great work.  While the job title says “Analyst” this is not a data crunching role. We are not looking for large data set skills, or folks with excel prowess (though some excel will be needed!). We’re looking for someone who ideally has knowledge of the BPO industry, experience in negotiating professional services contracts, a talent for drafting contracts and change orders, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate is a little bit scrappy, super organized, with high attention to detail, who’s looking for a small team with big ambitions, where they can make an impact.

Strategic Sourcing related:

Ideally our Sr. Analyst will have experience that will support the following job duties:

• Perform purchasing related tasks such as market research & analysis, data collection/management, cost modeling, RFx materials facilitation, supplier communications, and contracting.
• Conduct detailed market and vendor research, and communicate findings through research summaries.
• Review, draft, and finalize professional services purchase contracts, including change orders.
• Review and negotiate 1099/freelance/independent contractor contracts.

Contingent Workforce Related:

If Strategic Sourcing tasks are quiet, this role will offer support to the Contingent Workforce team, such as:

• Take ownership of select CW projects; assess the opportunity, develop the project plan, establish ROI, devise the roadmap for execution, and then bring it home to completion.
• Work with the team to assist with execution of other enterprise wide CW projects.
• Develop as a subject matter expert for Twitter’s contingent workforce. 
• Assist with answering inbound global CW inquiries through ticketing systems and internal comms channels.
• Identify ongoing process and service improvement and drive prioritization to create maximum benefit for CW users.

• 3-5 years experience in professional services, outsourcing, contingent workforce or other category related strategic sourcing preferred.
• Strong Excel and Google Suite skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with a Legal, Management, HR, or Finance focus preferred.
