Job Description

The Director of Global Benefits and Well-Being will work directly with our Head of Total Rewards to shape our global strategy and design programming that supports the needs of our Tweeps in five key areas: physical, social, emotional, work/life balance and financial. As a member of the Total Rewards leadership team, you will influence the overall Total Rewards strategy in support of our Tweeps. You will partner cross-functionally to create, finance and deliver a compelling and engaging benefits offering for our Tweeps. You will bring thought leadership in the area of well-being to create programming, tools and resources that support our Tweeps in caring for themselves, loved ones and community.

  • Design and implement a global benefits and well-being philosophy that serves Twitter's culture and meets the needs of all Tweeps
  • Strategic design of new programs and enhancements to existing benefits
  • Lead a global team in the execution of Twitter's benefits and well-being strategy
  • Assess and manage brokers/vendors in current locations and new locations as Twitter expands globally
  • Cultivate partnerships across the People team and direclt with Tweeps to ensure the voice and experience of Tweeps is reflected in the work we deliver
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all countries where Twitter operates
  • Oversight of the global renewal and open enrollment processes
  • Develop an effective internal and external communication strategy to ensure Twitter employees understand the Benefits plan offerings, policies, and key dates
  • Act as a fiduciary on behalf of Twitter and Tweeps as you partner with our vendors

Qualifications

  • B.A/BS.in related area of focus (Human Resources, Management, or related)
  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience leading a global benefits and wellness function or related experience
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and engage with all levels of leadership to build consensus on issues such as process and strategy
  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred
  • Experience leading Business Partner relationships of traditional insurance companies and innovative wellness start-ups
  • Experience leading a global benefits team
  • Strong analytical skills and intermediate skills with Google sheets, Excel, Google Docs, Word and Google Slides/Powerpoint
  • Experience with Workday (preferred) or other 3rd party HRIS
