What You'll Do
As a highly experienced Data Analytics practitioner and inspiring people leader, you will play a key role enabling leaders to make data-driven decisions as they continuously scale and improve our technology and security operations. You will drive the delivery of actionable analytics and insight across our IT and Information Security organizations. You will evangelize the adoption of standards and best practices across our analytic community.
Job Description
This role will be part of our IT/Infosec Strategy & Business Operations team. You will use data to further enable technology and security leaders to drive the maturation of our technology and internal security landscape. Specifically, you will:
Energetically lead a small and hyper-focused team of business intelligence engineers, statisticians and analytic practitioners
Use problem-solving and analytical skills to deliver actionable insights to relevant decision makers using the appropriate delivery method
Develop of a data analytics strategy and roadmaps for IT and Information Security
Proactively align with IT and Information Security leaders to understand their domain to identify and deliver KPIs/KRIs and operational metrics for continuous improvement
Deliver a core set of security, governance, risk and controls metrics to be used by employees at all levels
Deliver a core set of IT health metrics to monitor process adoption, maturation and health of the environment
Present meaningful technology and risk metrics to executive leadership
Collaborate with the Data Science organization to identify and deliver “common good” datasets
Proactively recommend measurement and analytics based on business objectives, challenges and opportunities
Deliver and maintain scalable and robust semantic layers for analytic ease
Manage measurement and analytic delivery through the entire lifecycle
Evaluate and automate existing metrics
Bring a passion for Twitter and creativity to the role
Qualifications
Qualifications
5+ years leading, managing and developing high-performing teams
10+ years working directly in the business intelligence or data analytics space
7+ years of data visualization creating beautiful and energizing exploratory and explanatory dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, SAP, etc.
5+ years working in an environment requiring rapid response and/or ad hoc analysis
4+ years designing and delivering metrics for an Information Security or IT organization
Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and data governance
Ability to write SQL from scratch for various data platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Google Cloud, etc.
Ability to communicate effectively and present analysis to senior leaders
Ability to work cross-functionally to drive measurable business impact
Experience delivering metrics for company-wide visibility
Experience operating with frameworks for IT Service Management and enterprise agility
Strong knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, Lean or similar frameworks
Knowledge of relevant governance, risk and controls frameworks
