Who we are:

Twitter is hiring a global lead for our Global Creative Innovation team. Global Creative Innovation is a function within the Global Content Partnerships organization tasked with inspiring the next generation of creative activations with top content partners around the world. 

 

Who you are:

 

This Director, GCP will be responsible for building the team from the ground up, driving the external vision and buy-in needed to launch signature work with top partners while simultaneously establishing the internal Operations and cross-functional relationships core to building great work at Twitter. 

 

  • You’re a senior-level marketer with an uncommon track record of ideating and launching “unmissable activations” that move key metrics on and off Twitter. 

  • You’re a people leader with an undeniable passion for mentoring and developing high-performing talent and teams.

  • You’re a champion of diversity, inclusion, and representation at every step of the creative process. You actively create space for underrepresented voices and communities to build strategies, shape activations and deliver culturally relevant work.

  • You’re a creative powerhouse, a player-coach who’s able to identify and paint a picture of opportunities, patterns, and innovations while also being able to turn that spark of “what might be” into reality.

  • You thrive in ambiguity, and draw on deep experience to lead with poise and purpose.

  • You’re an Operations guru, adept at building the processes, tools, and frameworks needed to establish and grow a team.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Develop and lead a multi-functional and global team that can ideate, inspire and launch signature creative activations with Twitter’s top content partners

  • Create a culture of inclusivity, weaving diversity and representation into every step of the creative process

  • Partner with GCP Leadership to establish a clear vision and mission for the team, with clear criteria for prioritization, collaboration, and measurement

  • Champion the vision of GCP Global Creative Innovation in and outside Twitter, inspiring collaboration and growing ambition for “unmissable activations” on the platform

  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Twitter to enable best-in-class collaboration

  • Work with in-market teams and experts across the world to understand, prioritize, and right-size creative opportunities and learnings in each region

  • Develop internal systems and frameworks for operationalizing the team’s bandwidth and output

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 12-15 years of creative strategy or marketing strategy experience, preferably in a leadership capacity

  • Proven track record of signature creative work on behalf of Content Partners and/or brands

  • Portfolio of diversity- and community-centric creative work, especially in the Sports, Entertainment, and News verticals

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$146,000.00 - USD$174,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Commission Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
