Twitter's Finance Systems team is searching for an experienced, motivated, proactive Finance Systems Manager to join the team! The candidate will manage and drive critical priorities for Twitter's Finance Org by driving Finance system projects and enhancements of all sizes impacting Oracle EBS. You will play a significant role in the team's objectives and execution. You will work with a diverse team to prioritize, manage, review, and vet projects and ensure the solution provided by IT meets the business requirements throughout the implementation process. When driving on multiple projects in a fast paced environment, you are able to clearly articulate and communicate the issues, impacts and outcome in functional / business language and can facilitate and drive decisions with cross functional leaders. In order to have a solid understanding of the project, you can dive into the details of complex analyses without losing sight of the overall objective. An ability to think critically, plan and execute effectively while collaborating with cross functional leaders will be key to success in this role.

The ideal candidate has strong business and functional system acumen with a deep understanding of Finance systems, project management lifecycle, and finance system implementation. This role will establish positive, professional relationships with our major business and IT stakeholders, and act as a trusted functional partner and a respectful challenger. The individual must be a strategic thinker while having the proven track record of building influential alliances across the organization to ensure consistency of intake, vetting, and functional design review process across Finance. Lastly, this position requires excellent organization and communication skills, proven project management success, business and system analysis, critical thinking, and a strong functional understanding of enterprise systems. The candidate must also be able to influence change, adapt to dynamic and ambiguous environments, and be self-directed.

Job Description

  • Manage and drive the entire system implementation and enhancement lifecycle from ensuring clearly defined project scope and requirement aligning to objectives, provide input of detailed project plans, document as is process and workflows, identify and communicate upstream and downstream system / process impacts, gaps, risk, and dependencies.

  • Partner with IT to provide functional oversight of Finance enterprise systems (Oracle EBS R12.2.9).

  • Serves as a single point of contact for the business and IT and facilitates discussions between cross-functional stakeholder teams. Demonstrate and be recognized as Subject Matter Expert (SME) with in-depth working knowledge of one or more Finance functional areas.

  • Engage and participate in system / product selection evaluation. Review and vet proposals, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services and fit gap analysis in response to requests from business.

  • Review project / enhancement intake impacting Finance functions and Oracle EBS. Collaborate with business to define and vet business requirements, and challenge the status quo.

  • Lead workshop and requirement review sessions involving relevant business and IT stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Drive design decisions requiring Finance systems and business leadership input. Ensure IT design and solution within scope aligning to business requirement and agreed design

  • Drive and manage system related change management activities, including but not limited to creating training strategy and training material with the PM team and business.

  • Align project and enhancement prioritization with IT based on business prioritization.

  • Collaborate with business to define UAT scope and strategy. Create UAT scripts for projects and enhancements for end users, and drive UAT execution with business.

  • Provide support on the Finance systems operational tasks, including but not limited to monitoring systems bugs and issues ensuring the issues are resolved in a timely manner, and conducting retrospective of close issues.

  • Provide status updates during IT phases for project/enhancements. Keep the PM team informed. Co-lead weekly standup meetings with IT and midpoint project check ins.

  • Provide support as needed on maintaining Chart of accounts in EDM/EBS, including but not limited to review all segment changes requested by FP&A and Accounting Team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant Finance functional system analysis experience in global organization

  • Strong functional knowledge of Finance enterprise systems, especially Oracle EBS (GL/FA/AP/PO/INV/CM/IMS), Cloudio, Supplier Connect, Sabrix.

  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills (includes the capability to listen to the needs of others, research and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner and present findings as well as recommendations, orally and written).

  • Experience with global Finance and Accounting operations and possess a solid understanding of core Finance processes and accounting practices.

  • Solid experience with all aspects of system implementation including, but not limited to, requirement review, solution/design review, system training, cutover and go live activities.

  • Strong ability to develop clear and concise functional system documentation and slide decks to facilitate discussions / decisions with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast paced environment.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud is a big bonus

Education

  • BS in business, finance, systems, computer science or other related field

  • PMP Certification desirable
