Job Description

The Partnerships team at Twitter is focused on driving inorganic growth for Twitter through multiple channels, including Global Content Partnerships (GCP), Developer Platform partnerships, and Business Development (including product partnerships).  We are a multi-disciplinary team that has recently combined with a goal of executing more strategic partnerships and driving operational excellence.

This Business Operations Analyst will support to our Global Content Partnerships (GCP) Strategy & Operations Lead, and will also serve as a key member of our Partnerships Strategy & Operations team to drive impact for GCP, including supporting strategic business planning, market intelligence and competitive assessments, opportunity identification and prioritization, and strategic initiatives that drive growth. This person will partner cross-functionally with Global Sales, Marketing, Finance, FP&A, IT and Product teams to drive revenue, craft and execute sales strategy, manage internal systems and improve processes to drive productivity and provide revenue operations assistance to customer ad campaigns.  You will also analyze revenue trends and other organic metrics and KPIs to execute critical cross-functional projects to enhance revenue durability and user experience on the platform.  

The ideal candidate has expertise in both content/media business and is current on industry trends and challenges.  You are also great at building sustainable cross-functional stakeholder relationships and can influence outcomes across a diverse set of stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be an expert in content/media staying up-to-date on the state of the industry, trends, challenges, key players, representation on other platforms and major industry events
  • Support GCP planning & tracking processes (annual planning, OKRs, etc)
  • Design and execute cross-functional business processes and operations for GCP 
  • Act as an advocate for organizational needs with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support global ad hoc initiatives, projects, analysis for GCP leadership
  • Find opportunities to improve team efficiencies, and lead efforts to scale standard methodologies globally
  • Work with our cross functional partners (Sales teams, Product and Engineering, Finance, HR) to ensure successful execution of key projects, while continually identifying opportunities for ongoing program improvements and enhancements
  • Develop strategic insights, using both Twitter business data and competitive landscape analysis to help formulate new strategic business opportunities and go-to-market plans
  • Actively participate in planning and executing of regional and channel-wide business plans
  • Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

 Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years experience in the content, strategy, operations ecosystem, some of those in leadership capacity 
  • Structured problem solver with a bent towards fast execution & iteration
  • Experience working with finance, HR, FP&A and sales operations function with similar needs and job function
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders to sell ideas/vision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bonus:  Management consulting experience and / or MBA
