Job Description

The Platform Product team is a critical team in Twitter’s Core Tech organization that puts a business and product lens on the internal tools, platforms, as well as Twitter’s compute, network, and storage infrastructures on premises and on public clouds. With every product we ship to our internal customers, we provide an enabling environment to build exciting experiences for our customers.

 

We are looking for a Sr/Staff Product Manager to lead our foray into the hybrid cloud infrastructure, abstracting away the complexity of managing the data center and the cloud offerings to enable flexibility and simplify how our customers in the Consumer and Revenue organizations build products. Your areas of responsibility include:

  • Build a deep understanding of our customers and their needs.

  • Develop roadmaps and prioritize platform feature developments that optimize the UX and efficiency of using Cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP) and Cloud native services. 

  • Define, track and communicate objectives, key results and metrics to measure success and business impact of the products.

  • Identifying potential gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement in execution. Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan and implement the product roadmap. 

  • Grow adoption of and accelerate onboarding of our managed Cloud infrastructure for suitable customer workloads across the company.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software engineering, solution architect, IT consulting, technical product management or program management, in which at least 5 years spent in a product management role.

  • 3+ years experience shipping cloud-based (AWS/GCP) products in production at large scale. 

  • Experience working with products deployed in public cloud and/or hybrid cloud infrastructure. 

  • Experience driving large-scale cloud migrations or re-platforming efforts that have multi-region and global impact. 

  • Experienced in working with third parties, partners and contractor organizations that may not have the same priorities as yours. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate complex issues with clear, customer centric language that is tailored to the intended audience. 

  • Master degree in CS, EE or related fields. MBA preferred.

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$191,000.00 - USD$267,000.00.

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.


This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
