Who We Are

At Twitter our IT Enterprise Applications team focuses on implementing and supporting applications to help our internal customers meet their operational needs. We are responsible for establishing processes for continual improvement, guiding administration, and partnering with multiple stakeholders on a project-to-project basis. What You’ll Do

You will be a key person in supporting Accounting, FP&A, and the larger Finance organization. Tasks will include project development and functionality enhancement to meet changing business needs, second-tier support for day-to-day activities such as month-end and forecast periods, monthly maintenance, etc., and meeting obligations of protecting the security, privacy, confidentiality and integrity of Twitter’s data. You will be providing assistance and support to a user base in multiple countries.

  • Developing, maintaining and nurturing a positive IT / internal customer relationship.

  • Leading development projects from inception through completion, working independently and interacting with senior organization employees.

  • Maintaining and managing the Oracle EPM suite of applications in the cloud and on-premise, and related integrations/interfaces.

  • Implementing and ensuring security and auditing standards are followed.

  • Gathering, analyzing and documenting business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements in accordance with compliance guidelines. 

  • Developing complex, detailed functional and technical designs for new business requirements.

  • Working with key members in domestic and international locations, and in various departments to identify and resolve application issues, system enhancements, and new user requirements.

  • Developing test scripts and performing in-depth tests of new functionality, including system and integration, and other post-implementation support.

  • Providing clear communications to management regarding timelines, issues and requirements and personal training needs.

  • Preparing and delivering reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential problem areas in IT systems across the organization.

 

Additionally, an ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience with solution implementation: requirements gathering, solution design, user training, performance optimization, system testing and go-live support.

  • Experience in a minimum of 2 end-to-end Oracle EPM implementation projects.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as IT infrastructure, network, security, data governance, etc. 

  • Experience producing technical control and change management evidence for internal and external audits. 

  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.

  • Experience in global enterprise system implementations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter experts

  • Experience gathering and designing functional requirements and writing technical specs documents.

  • Experience working in complex, integrated systems with both upstream and downstream dependencies is desirable.

  • Experience with EPM cloud products - PBCS, EPBCS, Strategic Modeling, FCCS, PCMCS, ARCS, EPRCS, EDMCS. 

  • Ability to write Groovy and automation (EPM Automate / EPM Agent) scripts

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the EPM cloud technologies. Solid experience in EDMCS and EPM security procedures are highly desired.

  • 5+ years knowledge in Essbase, SQL and Smart View. 

  • Ability and passion for creating, enforcing and coaching other team members on EPM and cloud infrastructure best practices in relation to security, privacy and compliance.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support system audits, compliance, security and data governance guidelines. 

  • Experience in EPM application administration, Finance or Accounting is required.

  • Specific experience with the following: automation, load processes, business rule development, integration with ERP and other relational databases.

  • Experience with ARCS, PCMCS, EPRCS and other reporting modules.

  • Experience with ASO and / or Hybrid Essbase applications.

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Accounting or equivalent experience.

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$128,000.00 - USD$179,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
