Job Description

Conversation connects people, lets us share knowledge, and inspires creativity and innovation. At Twitter, it’s the center of everything we do. Our team is responsible for making conversations more relevant, engaging, and easy to participate in and we're seeking a Product Manager to help lead these efforts. As a product manager on the Tweets team, you'll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, researchers and data scientists to advance one of the company's core components.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build a deep understanding of the types of conversations on Twitter and user needs around conversation

  • Identify opportunities for our product to better serve those user needs and work with design, research, data science and engineering partners to craft, test, and launch new features to improve the conversation experience for our users

  • Bring bold ideas to build industry-leading features in online conversations and help people connect in new ways

  • Set the pace for shipping world-class product features that delight our users and contribute to our company’s most important goals

  • Orchestrate product development work outside of your core team, when necessary, by achieving cross-functional buy-in

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management or relevant experience 

  • Have a track record of shipping successful consumer-facing products at scale

  • Experience of going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution

  • Demonstrated experience in building successful cross-functional partnerships and successfully navigating complex stakeholder environments

  • Comfortable working in a fluid, fast-paced environment

  • A strong quantitative skill-set with a dedication to data driven experimentation and decision-making

  • Established history of collaboration with user research, design, data science and engineering to develop a product roadmap.

  • Strong analytical, creative and strategic thinking abilities
