Who We Are:

Twitter’s Finance Systems team is searching for an energetic, motivated, proactive Program Manager to join the team! The candidate will drive critical priorities for Twitter’s Finance Org by leading and assisting in projects of all sizes. You will work with a diverse team to manage projects from concept to discovery to implementation process, specifically: project definition, scoping, resource planning, business requirements, testing and organizational readiness activities. When working on multiple projects in a fast paced environment, you are able to clearly articulate and communicate the issues, status, and results and can facilitate and drive decisions with cross functional leaders. In order to have a solid understanding of the project, you can dive into the details of complex analyses without losing sight of the overall objective.  An ability to think critically, plan and execute effectively while collaborating with leaders in Finance will be key to success in this role.


The ideal candidate has a strong business acumen with a deep understanding of Finance operations, project management lifecycle, and finance system implementation. The Finance program manager will establish positive, professional relationships with our major stakeholders, and act as a trusted partner and a respectful challenger. The individual must be a strategic thinker while having the proven ability to work well with the entire organization to ensure consistency of process across all departments and countries. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and drive the Finance projects / system enhancements in all sizes by managing the entire project lifecycle from defining the project, developing the project plan, driving project milestones, presenting project status, risks, and remediation plans to executive sponsors and SteerCo members.
  • Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to understand the project objective and problem statement, document supporting data and as is process and workflows, identify gaps, drive consensus to achieve an agreed set of business requirements, understand and communicate upstream and downstream system / process impacts and dependencies on the project.
  • Work with the business project requestor to identify project benefits and build a compelling business case.
  • Gather, capture, finalize business requirements and user stories. Drive, align, and present project overview and lead requirement vetting meetings with business leads and IT.
  • Lead, drive, manage change management activities, including but not limited to implementing change management in systems or processes across teams for each project, and build a training plan.
  • Provides day-to-day operational aspects of the project, including monitoring of project resource needs, preparation of project documentation, status reports that track accomplishments, milestones, key issues and/or change controls.
  • Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, schedule and quality measures on projects.
  • Participate and develop end user UAT test plans and test scripts.
  • Comply with corporate policies and procedures, and other compliance areas.

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • 6-8 years relevant Program and Project Management experience leading Finance projects and system enhancements.
  • Experience working on Oracle ERP and SFDC CRM systems. Experience in Apttus is a big bonus.
  • Experience with global Finance operations is a big plus.
  • Experience with all aspects of IT system implementation including, but not limited to as-is and to-be business process mapping, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, cutover and go-live activities.
  • Experience developing and executing complex project plans.
  • Experience in building and leading a high performance from both internal and external teams.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills, ability to adapt communication to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong ability to develop clear and concise documentation and slide decks to facilitate discussions / decisions with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinking, understand the intention and purpose of every task and decision to be made
  • Strong driver and able to work in a fast paced environment. 
  • Knowledge of using Gsuite (Google doc, slides, sheets, drive) MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio, Lucidchart for process flow, JIRA, project management tool.

Education:

  • BS in business, finance, systems, computer science or other related field
  • PMP Certification desirable

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$128,000.00 - USD$179,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
