Sr. Content Designer, Revenue Diversity (Remote, East Coast)

  • Full-time

Company Description

Twitter is what’s happening and what people are talking about right now. For us, life's not about a job, it's about purpose. We believe real change starts with conversation. Here, your voice matters. Come as you are and together we'll do what's right (not what's easy) to serve the public conversation.

Job Description

Twitter is looking for an experienced content designer to join our Revenue Diversity team in creating industry-leading solutions that support ways for creators and advertisers to uniquely express themselves and connect with their audiences on our platform. You’ll be working on user flows, new features, in-product messaging, content frameworks, navigation, product naming, and more. You’ll also manage feedback from cross functional partners, conduct content audits, write, edit, and pick just the right emoji.Throughout, you’ll champion and evangelize Content Design’s power throughout Twitter’s products and platforms.

Who we are:

In Content Design, we write the words and build strategies. If advertisers saw it in our products, we checked it against our style guide, developed the system, tested the messaging, and then collaborated across a number of teams to launch it into the world.

Who you are:

  • Learning is at the core of your content design strategy, and you approach problems with a curious and open mind.

  • You care deeply about our diverse customer audiences and recognize the importance of creating best-in-class experiences for them.

  • You’re confident in advocating for customers — even when others disagree with your approach.

  • You have a deep curiosity about problems or things that aren’t working effectively, can see hidden problems, look beyond the obvious, and don’t stop at first answers.

  • You bring a strong sense of business acumen, relationship management, and superior analytical skills with a proven track record for identifying and solving problems.

  • You thrive in navigating fast-paced, complex environments and you can adapt to change and find the right path — even when you don’t have all the pieces of the puzzle.

  • You’re a detailed problem solver who confidently collaborates with a range of product and delivery-focused teams.

  • By default, you’re someone who always assumes positive intent and seeks out diverse perspectives.

What you'll do:

  • Design, write, edit, test, and improve the content that makes our products easier to use. This includes end-to-end product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies, and other content across Twitter ads products and experiences.

  • Collaborate daily with peers in every discipline, including engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science, to take products from conception to launch and create #OnlyOnTwitter experiences.

  • Present your work and strategy to get buy-in from key stakeholders.

  • Boldly advocate for a healthy customer experience.

  • Demonstrate sound judgment and influence product decisions, team direction, and strategy.

  • Partner with our internationalization and localization teams to ensure product experiences are of the highest quality in every language.

  • Plan how content varies based on customer needs and where each need arises in the customer journey.

  • Give and solicit feedback from your UX design peers to build the best products.

  • Edit and contribute to designs and content in Figma or other design tools.

  • Independently and proactively identify and work on projects that span multiple teams.

  • Help shape the internal Design community, provide mentorship, and develop skills of other content designers.

  • Ensure “Tweet” is capitalized—everywhere and always.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in a writing capacity: content strategy, UX, or copywriting.

  • 3–5+ years’ experience writing and designing content for web or mobile.

  • Exceptional writing skills and unparalleled attention to detail.

  • Adept at simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences.

  • Ability to craft narratives and frameworks that guide people through a product experience.

  • Expert in translating technical capabilities into customer benefits.

  • Proven systems thinking, with aptitude for learning our technical systems.

  • Experience presenting designs and strategies to get buy-in from key stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where there's not always a step-by-step guide to completing a project.

  • Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to inform content decisions.

  • Familiarity with mobile ad creation and digital marketing.

  • Familiarity with subscription and shopping products in the social media space.
