Job Description

Who you are:

As Staff Product Manager for Capacity Planning & Chargeback, you’ll actively develop a deep understanding of Twitter's products and develop a comprehensive, cohesive vision for a product portfolio that advances our ability to plan capacity and use our resources efficiently.

What you'll do:

  • Own the product aspects of our capacity planning initiative and manage the output of the numerous workstreams to ensure that what we build supports reliability outcomes
  • Build an effective chargeback mechanism and seek adoption within teams
  • Capacity forecasting and planning to make sure that Twitter can scale as we attract more users
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our Legal, Public Policy, and Communications teams on product launches
  • Develop an internal marketing strategy with the team, making sure that partner organizations are informed of the offered capabilities and engaged on future features

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience driving and implementing policy, process redesign, project/program management, or management consulting
  • Leading teams, preferably in multi-site organizations. Bonus: Has held leadership roles that require extensive collaboration with third parties, partners, and teams whose short-term priorities may not be aligned with yours
  • Strong process modeling and problem-solving capabilities: Able to document and analyze the flow of information between systems, quickly grasps how product settings and features interact to impact customer experience, and promptly propose elegant, creative solutions to address product and customer needs
  • Strong technical background and program management expertise
  • Experience working with quantitative and qualitative data, including research findings, to support recommendations
  • Familiarity with product needs to operate data centers
