Job Description

Who Are We? We Are:

Twitter's Cloud Acceleration team is leading the charge on taking the Twitter stack to the cloud as part of Twitter's strategy to run services in a hybrid cloud environment. We are looking for software engineers to help us accomplish this mission.

  • We build the processes and services that allow engineers at Twitter to use the public cloud with as little friction as possible
  • We drive embracing cloud computing principles throughout Twitter through collaborating with peer and customer teams
  • We engage with public cloud providers to provide feedback on new features/offerings
  • We ensure that Twitter's use of public cloud services has reliability baked-in
  • We build the tooling that helps Twitter stay aligned with data privacy and security requirements

Qualifications

Who Are You? You'll Have:

  • Experience with production deployments in at least one public cloud provider, preferably AWS
  • Excited and engaged with other teams at Twitter, understanding their services, and helping them adopt cloud technologies and standard methodologies
  • Comfortable programming in one of the following languages: Python, Java, Scala, or Go
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures background
  • We are seeking three or more years of proven experience
  • B.S.+ in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
