Job Description

The Product Security and Architecture team works across Twitter to build security into everything that we do. You’ll work directly with internal and external stakeholders to define security testing requirements, lead testing engagements, and reduce overall risk to deployed applications and infrastructure by proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities. 

 

As Security Engineer, Penetration Testing  you will:

 

- Organize and/or perform internal and external testing engagements for applications, infrastructure, and networks.

- Organize scoping and planning of assessments.

- Identify opportunities to eliminate classes of vulnerabilities using data-driven approaches.

- Define requirements, processes, and roadmaps for internal testing technologies.

- Inform and assist with cross-functional information security programs.

 

Qualifications

- 3+ years of knowledge and understanding of security engineering, system and network security, and application security.

- Broad knowledge of attack vectors, exploits, and mitigations that work at scale.

- Experience with security testing tools, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.

- Experience with using one or more of the following languages: Java, Go, Python or GraphQL.

- Understanding of security challenges in service architectures or large distributed systems.


- Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines both in the cloud and datacenter.
