Team Description / Who We Are:

Twitter is seeking a Sr. Researcher to be part of our Revenue Experience Research team, focused on influencing our Performance Advertising business. At Twitter, our research plays an integral part in inspiring the products that fuel Twitter’s mission to serve the public conversation while also helping businesses grow. Our team has a direct impact on advertising product strategy, roadmaps, and the design of new experiences that help advertisers of all sizes grow their business by connecting with people in a meaningful way. 

Job Description

As a member of our Core Ads Research team, you will own the proactive discovery, exploration, and development of strategic advertising-related insights that will anchor our product strategies. Collaboration will also be a key part of your role. You'll establish relationships with partners in Design, Product, Engineering, and Data Science. Also, you’ll work with other research teams across the business to connect the dots, seed new ideas, and ultimately sharpen product development strategies to help fuel long-term sustainable revenue growth for Twitter.

Qualifications

You are an experienced product researcher with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research experiences and a background in media and/or advertising. You know exactly when to engage with teams in Design, Product, Engineering, Data Science and which questions to ask, where to probe, and how to land insights across a business. You’re passionate about Twitter and believe great experiences are always inspired by a deep understanding of the user.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in fields like Research, Psychology, Marketing or the equivalent experience

  • 6+ years of industry experience in UX research roles

  • 3+ years of experience in a media, marketing or advertising related research role

  • Experience with research design utilizing various methods including but not limited to usability studies, user journey maps, personas, contextual inquiry, and surveys

  • Relevant product research experience, either in an end-to-end, usability, or generative setting

  • Working knowledge of the advertising industry, including performance, video, and mobile advertising

  • Strong business acumen; an understanding of business goals, strategies and pressures while being aware of industry trends and competitive actions as a context for doing research

  • Thrives in ambiguity and quickly changing environments

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$146,000.00 - USD$204,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
