We are hiring a Cloud Solutions Architect with specialization in Networking. We seek a Networking professional who has the ability to consult, architect and build a wide range of networking and connectivity solutions, is willing to dive into the details, can build scalable systems, and is able to communicate at all levels within an organization. The Solutions Architect engages with internal Twitter services to understand their business drivers, assess application portfolios, design reliable and cost-effective cloud native architectures. As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with internal customers, AWS, and GCP professional service staff to create solutions that address Twitter business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS and GCP services within Twitter. 

You are a highly proficient Cloud Solutions Architect with hands-on experience and in-depth skills in all aspects of network engineering. You have a proven track record of designing cloud-based network architecture that can support 100’s of thousands of instances for distributed software systems. You are a motivated and pragmatic thinker, eager to get the job done while finding a balance between pace and quality with:

• 10+ years of experience architecting and implementing enterprise-scale networks or 7+ years and a Masters degree in Networking
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with architecting and building network virtualization in AWS and/or GCP cloud products 
• Deep knowledge of network architecture/security and control-plane protocols, e.g. TCP/IP, ISIS, MPLS, MP-BGP, IPsec, MPLS-VPN, etc.

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$191,000.00 - USD$267,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
