Twitter is seeking an experienced product manager to build the next generation of the public Twitter API. This includes further developing the recently launched Twitter API v2 and evolving Twitter’s public API strategy for years to come.

Job Description
This role will be responsible for delivering core functionality of the Twitter API to external developers, and creating new functionality over time. Success will require the ability to develop a deep understanding of the needs and challenges facing diverse groups of developers who are already building on or wish to build on the Twitter API. Central to the role will be working collaboratively with Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Policy, Developer Relations, and Marketing teams to deliver endpoints and other API products that developers love. This immediate focus of this role will be on the continued development of Twitter API v2, which offers significant responsibility and opportunity for impact from day one.
Qualifications
You have 4+ years of experience in a product management role delivering software products that solve customer problems
You have a strong working knowledge of a developer as a primary customer
You have a demonstrated history creating compelling product visions and strategies and are adept at communicating them in both written and verbal mediums
You have an expert understanding of API design principles and technical depth that lets you partner with and earn the respect of world-class engineers
Computer science or engineering background strongly preferred

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$167,000.00 - USD$234,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
