We’re currently looking for an experienced Program Manager to join the Talent Management team as part of the Career Experience org. The Career Experience team helps people grow their careers and increase their impact @Twitter (and beyond). We lead with empathy, question the status quo, and ensure opportunities are fair and accessible for all. How? By creating programs and resources that make it easy for anyone, anywhere to identify their strengths, address gaps, and understand how their work plays a role in building Twitter for the better.
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to the Talent Management strategy, philosophy, and narrative to cultivate a high performance culture across the organization
- Own the overall design and implementation of specific Twitter’s Talent Management programs, processes and systems
- Serve as a thought leader for Talent Management through continuous benchmarking, internal and external research, and innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our workforce and business
- Embed our Talent Management principles and partner with L+D to develop and deliver trainings/resources and real-time support to set up Leaders, Managers, and HRBPs to effectively drive career growth for their teams
- Collaborate across the People org (Experience Design, L&D, People Systems, People Analytics, HRBP, Compensation, Employee Relations, Employment Legal, Diversity, etc.) and business teams to assess needs and ensure global consistency and brand integrity as we deliver world-class programs
- Partner with Career Experience Ops and Project Managers to ensure positive internal and external relationships, set and carry out project plans, escalate and solve potential roadblocks, and ensure quality and brand alignment of all vendor-delivered work
- Partner with People Systems to make system improvements to streamline and enhance the employee and manager experience through Talent Management
- Train our People Services team to provide first line support for program questions
- Create communication strategies and draft internal and executive communications where needed, in partnership with Internal Comms
- Partner with HRBPs and Strategy & Ops to drive change adoption as well as represent their voice to consult on the development of program strategies, communication, and training
- Leverage data and analytics to influence decisions and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of Talent Management programs, in partnership with People Analytics
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives, as needed
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- You have strong working knowledge of organizational development and talent programs with a focus on performance management, promotions, and assessment tools
- You have a flair for the creative and love to build programs from the ground up, with the management skills to bring your ideas to fruition
- You have outstanding interpersonal skills and build strong relationships with all levels of roles across functions, involving the right people at the right time across the business
- You ask forward-thinking, big-picture questions to help cross-functional teams come to the best solutions
- You have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment and versatility to manage multiple projects, priorities and sometimes urgent issues successfully and simultaneously
- You’re clear about about what success looks like and help bring your stakeholders along to achieve these goals
- You are detail-oriented, analytical and have a systems thinking approach to problem solving, and understand how things affect one another in an overall system
- You are a self-starter, highly motivated, and able to shift directions quickly when priorities change
- You have a strong understanding of change management best practices and implementation, with a client or customer focused mentality
If this sounds like you, you probably have experience with:
- HR or Talent Development program/project management in a complex multi-functional and global environment
- Communicating directly with cross-functional partners, including effective conflict management, prioritizing and managing stakeholder requests
- Leading development and execution of communication plans, communication collateral, training and change adoption strategies
- Presenting to groups at all levels and the ability to answer questions with poise and confidence, while relating in an approachable manner
- Assisting in retrospectives, feedback gathering and data analysis to drive proactive planning for future development
- Partnering with systems and business teams to understand technical and functional requirements and designing programs and processes within scope
Requirements:
- BA/BS in related area of focus (Human Resources, Management, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development)
- Minimum 7-8 years related experience, preferably in Talent/HR Program Management, Learning/Organizational Development, or HR Generalist or Business Partnership
- Experience with HR program design, instructional design and communications preferred
- Experience with Workday preferred

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$128,000.00 - USD$179,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
