Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Privacy Operations Manager to help build and support privacy processes and initiatives at Twitter. As a Privacy Operations Manager at Twitter, you’ll work with team members who are passionate about privacy and data protection and growing our business in a way that makes us proud. You’ll lead a team of privacy operations specialists responsible for a wide range of processes and procedures.
You must bring exceptional operations design and management experience, solid understanding of privacy and data protection principles, as well as creativity, to your daily role. You have experience processing user requests and/or strong background in operations
You are at ease with responding clearly and concisely to time-sensitive requests
You are an excellent communicator, and will maintain open, thorough, and regular communication with teammates and cross-functional teams
You are flexible and can adjust accordingly to ensure team efficiency and deliverables are met
You are able to spot anomalies or unusual patterns in requests you handle
You are attentive to detail, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment even when they are sometimes monotonous
You can deliver consistent high-quality work and have a knack for managing multiple tasks efficiently
What You’ll Do:
Handle global user requests including requests for account information and deletion requests
Work on regulatory investigations and responses
Help scale privacy and data protection compliance processes
Respond to internal and external privacy and data protection inquiries
Asses new Twitter products and projects and identify associated privacy and data protection risks
Who You Are:

Qualifications
Requirements:
6-8+ years of work experience in privacy or technology law, policy, programs, or other related fields.
2-5 years in operations role at a tech company
Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science, Public Policy, Political Science or related field.
Prior experience working on privacy and data protection related matters
Experience with people management
Demonstrated experience in online privacy, security or related field.
Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups to set objectives and produce results.
Experience managing, organizing, and coordinating projects and process-improvements in a program.
CIPP certification is preferred.
Preferred Requirements:
Fluency in a second or several languages
JIRA experience is highly valued, but not required.
