Job Description
We are looking for a Privacy Operations Specialist to help build and support privacy processes and initiatives at Twitter. Who We Are:
- You have experience processing user requests and/or strong background in operations
- You are at ease with responding clearly and concisely to time-sensitive requests
- You are an excellent communicator, and will maintain open, thorough, and regular communication with teammates and cross-functional teams
- You are flexible and can adjust accordingly to ensure team efficiency and deliverables are met
- You are able to spot anomalies or unusual patterns in requests you handle
- You are attentive to detail, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment even when they are sometimes monotonous
- You can deliver consistent high-quality work and have a knack for managing multiple tasks efficiently
What You’ll Do:
- Handle global user requests including requests for account information and deletion requests
- Work on regulatory investigations and responses
- Help scale privacy and data protection compliance processes
- Respond to internal and external privacy and data protection inquiries
- Asses new Twitter products and projects and identify associated privacy and data protection risks

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education / experience
- 3-5 years in an operations role at a tech company
- Prior experience working on privacy and data protection related matters
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Passion and enthusiasm for protecting user privacy and freedom of expression
- Ability to work on repetitive tasks
Preferred Requirements:
- Fluency in a second or several languages
- JIRA experience is highly valued, but not required
- CIPP certification is not required but is preferred
