The Health Engineering group is responsible for building technical solutions to help our users feel safe to express themselves more freely and interact with the world more openly. We build tools, features, and large-scale infrastructure systems to prevent and remediate abusive and inauthentic behaviors on the platform.

What you do

• Influence your organization to execute strategies and meet objectives for critical projects and programs

• Lead complex projects that require cross-organizational alignment and collaboration

• Assess your organization's performance and identify areas for improvement

• Anticipate and consider risks while shaping ongoing strategy

• Serve as a trusted advisor to peers and colleagues across the company

• Plan and deliver cross-organizational strategies

Qualifications:

-  10+ years of relevant work experience.

-  Experience in Scala, Java, or a functional programming language

- Expertise building distributed systems

- Well-versed in software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation).

- Experience leading, growing, and mentoring other engineers

- Driving cross org and cross company projects and impact.

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$217,000.00 - USD$304,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
