Who We Are

At Twitter our IT Enterprise Applications team focuses on implementing and supporting applications to help our internal customers meet their operational needs. We are responsible for creating processes for continual improvement, guiding administration, and partnering with multiple stakeholders on a project-to-project basis. Our mission is to keep our business running effectively while maintaining a healthy application environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Support Integration solutions for Workday HCM and Workday Payroll

  • Leverage Workday tools to build solutions: Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, web service, Extend and BIRT 

  • Triaging and troubleshooting system errors/bugs or integration failures. 

  • Provide tier 2 support for HR configuration issues and troubleshooting

  • Support Workday bi-annual release cycles, regression testing of integrations, and help gauge relevance of new features.

If this sounds like you, you probably have experience with:

  • Develop, maintain and nurture a positive IT / internal Customer relationship.

  • Developing detailed technical designs for new business requirements.

  • Building integrations using Workday’s toolset 

  • Work with key members in various departments to identify and resolve application issues, system enhancements, and new user requirements.

  • Provide clear communications to management regarding timelines, issues and requirements and personal training needs.

  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential problem areas in IT systems across the organization.

Additionally, an ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience with Solution implementation: requirements definition, solution design, user training, system testing and go-live support.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter experts

  • Gather & design requirements and write technical specs documents.

  • Experience working in complex, integrated systems with both upstream and downstream dependencies is desirable

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Workday Integration Experience

  • Strong experience with Workday Integration tool set -Studio, EIB, Core Connector, Cloud Connect, PECI, Report Writer, BIRT, APIs, Web Services, XSLT, & Rest URLs

  • Familiar with Workday business process, security and advanced reporting

  • Understanding of Workday HCM foundational concepts like Staffing Models, Position Management, Organizations, Hierarchy, Supervisory Orgs

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of Workday Payroll and/or Extend is a plus

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
