We are part of our Small to Medium Business (SMB) team, which is focused on building and scaling our self-serve advertising business through a combination of data, engineering, marketing, customer acquisition, and customer service.

Job Description

  • Manage and grow team of Sales Development Representatives focused on vetting and qualifying potential new and high value advertisers to Twitter in order to grow our managed customer acquisition

  • Onboard, train, and coach team members; provide mentorship and career guidance

  • Lead a high performing team by providing direct feedback and coaching, and conducting regular performance reviews.

  • Build, refine, and execute on innovative strategies for lead generation and growth by working with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Operations, and Finance to maximize efficiency and ROI

  • Identify opportunities across our customer lifecycle to generate qualified leads for the sales and account management teams

  • Oversee the entire inbound lead workflow, including processes, tooling, account identification and transitions, support SLAs, reporting and measurement

  • Identify opportunities to partner with cross functional teams to grow our  customers, our business, and the skillset of your employees

  • Be responsible for quarterly goals and KPIs such as leads worked, meetings set, opportunities and revenue influenced

  • Coach on prospecting and sales fundamentals, strategic thinking, and  professional development

  • Drive forecasting for the team, headcount planning and business strategy

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in Sales, Ops, or Customer Success

  • 1-2 years of management experience preferred; experience leading a team in a customer/client-facing environment

  • Experience with full-cycle sales from prospecting to retention and upselling

  • Understanding of the Digital Ads industry and Ad Agencies

  • Understanding of sales development strategies

  • Passion for early talent career development

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Highly self-motivated and well-organized

  • Focused on improving the customer experience and employee experience 

  • Ability to think strategically about the business, provide feedback, and implement change

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize among many demands and work with minimal supervision

  • Exceptionally resourceful; fearless in mining available knowledge bases and resources to find answers

  • A passion for problem-solving; being proactive and curious

  • Experience with tracking, developing, and motivating towards specific metrics and KPIs

  • Experience with working across cross functional partners both internal and external; presenting to stakeholders
