Job Description
In partnership with a world-class team of distributed system and client engineers, you will be responsible for developing, prioritizing, communicating, and executing a roadmap of best-in-class developer tools for our core services platform used across product development at Twitter. Our customers are Twitter engineers contributing to building amazing new features for Twitter.
Core Services is looking for a customer-obsessed product leader that’s passionate about developers, thrives in a complex collaborative environment, and can rally teams to deliver amazing products. Previous experience building self-serve tools and a platform for feature development so developers can prototype and build new API-based products faster.
Working closely with a diverse set of product teams from across Twitter, you will help us:
Tune our product strategy and execution to make sure we are delivering developer tools that are fast, efficient, and easy to use for our customers.
Improve pace of feature development for client and backend engineers at Twitter by providing easy-to-use UX API design tools that simplify the complexities of building new products at Twitter.
Develop a strategy and roadmap for self-serve tools and a platform for feature development so developers can prototype and build new API-based products faster.
Your cross-team collaboration skills will enable those improvements to be conceptualized and delivered to drive meaningful and impactful business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Technical depth with GraphQL, APIs, API tools that allow you to communicate with, understand, and earn the respect of world-class engineers.
Excellent structured thinking and clear communication style, both in person and in writing.
The ability to translate complex technical concepts for a variety of non-technical audiences.
A design thinking approach to problem-solving and product management.
Strong sense of customer empathy to care deeply about customer problems and user experience.
Ability to think strategically and craft a compelling product vision and strategy.
Exceptional planning, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure and agile software development.
Engage with customers, develop insights into what is possible, and uncover unarticulated customer needs to drive customer success.
Collaborate with Engineering, SRE, and product teams to plan, drive and deliver product releases.
Define product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with engineering or independently.
Own the "self-service" product experience
Qualifications
In-depth technical understanding of API tools, GraphQL services.
A track record of delivering developer-facing products.
Experience simultaneously supporting multiple teams and customers.
5+ years of product management experience
Strong bias for action, creative thinking, innovation, and data-driven product decision-making

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act):
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$167,000.00 - USD$234,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
