Job Description
Twitter is looking for a Finance Data Program Manager responsible for driving various data management, analytics and governance projects. This position will report into the data finance leader and requires skills to effectively collaborate within Finance and across broad parts of the organization and influence others without reliance on formal authority.

What you’ll do
Twitter Finance is implementing a data management, analytics and a governance program to ensure our data is treated like the valuable asset it is. The ideal candidate has experience in a data heavy environment, working with/within a data analytics team. The data project manager will receive data requests from non-technical business users and will need to have strong communication skills to manage and clarify these requests. This position will require an understanding of data analysis/engineering and data management as well as strong communication skills for interaction with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Creating and articulating the vision for finance data analytics and governance product development to enable finance business partners to easily access complete and accurate data
- Aid in performing data extraction, cleaning, analysis and presentation for data analytics and data quality
- Project manage various data and information management and governance programs
- Manage the delivery of dashboards, tools and data visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Work with data teams to provide semi-automated visualization of the lineage of Twitter Finance’s data, highlighting transformations and aggregations from origination through to reporting
- Establishes data certification, issue management, and resolution processes for Twitter Finance using the authoritative data governance platform and workflows, building consensus around key data issues and actions required to address them, and developing action plans and timelines to complete remediation
- Provides regular reporting on Data Governance metrics and activities
- Partners with multi-functional teams across finance, IT, Privacy-Engg, and other organizations to drive Finance's Data Governance initiatives
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Finance, or other relevant fields.
- Knowledge in data pipeline, integration, ETL, data modeling, data analytics, and visualization products and services
- Expertise in modernizing data analytics platforms, establishing data warehouse/ data lake, data security, integration activities, data lineage and system interconnectivity, visualization
- Proven track record in data analysis, process improvement, and project management
- Knowledge of data management and data marketplace
- Domain knowledge in Finance operations and processes (Forecasting, Core Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis)
- A growth mindset: curious, adaptable, loves learning & growth, open to change, and ability to pivot
