As a Program Manager you will support a unique team focused on preparing for and responding to high-impact events such as crises and elections as well as other challenges impacting the health of the conversation on Twitter, and the experiences of the millions of people around the world who use our products. You will develop processes to ensure that the team’s initiatives stay on track and that it experiments and innovates with a growth mindset.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a thought partner to team leadership by framing project or program decisions with actionable analysis, critical thinking, and strategic recommendations.
  • Shepherd the timely scoping and delivery of projects while identifying opportunities to improve the way our work is identified, prioritized, monitored, reported on, and delivered. 
  • Track and report status of project work, including progress, risks, and upcoming milestones.
  • Create templates and standards that streamline communications between teammates and stakeholders to meet deadlines, produce necessary work products, and achieve team goals.
  • Develop and maintain team knowledge management systems and procedures.
  • Engage with Trust & Safety peers to share roadmaps and projects, identify opportunities for collaboration, and help communicate a unified Trust & Safety strategy.
  • Help the team demonstrate the impact of its work with metrics and information.

Who You Are:

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in program management, partner management, or stakeholder communications, preferably in an internet safety, security, or crisis management context.
  • Well versed in team management, tracking, and work management best practices.
  • Knowledge of JIRA (or similar project management tools). Proficiency with other widely-used business systems and tools, such as Confluence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and written communication skills.
  • Work well under pressure; outstanding at sticking to timelines/deadlines.
  • A creative and innovative mindset.
