Who we are: 

The Business Development team sits within the Developer Platform team at Twitter. We develop and execute industry-specific, first-in-kind deals for Twitter to drive developer innovation in key market segments. The team works cross-functionally to identify new opportunities for developers to deliver value to Twitter both in terms of revenue and user growth.  We are a small team with deep industry knowledge, that works to drive impact to Twitter through developer-led partnerships and initiatives.

What you’ll do: 

You will play a critical role in supporting the growth of Twitter by leading our Developer Platform Finance industry strategy. You will structure partnerships with developers within the Finance industry to built new solutions that increase participation and user growth across Twitter. You will develop new monetization strategies and partnership models to align with the unique needs and opportunities within the Finance industry. You will work cross-functionally with teams across Twitter as the Finance market expert, and driver of a holistic strategy.

This role requires strong problem solving skills as well as complex negotiation strategy. You have exemplary time-management, long-term planning and communication skills, and have the ability to lead many ongoing initiatives at once independently.

• You are able to communicate complex ideas to broad audiences

• You can operate effectively in a dynamic, constantly changing environment

• BA / MBA preferred 

• 6-8+ years of related Finance or FinTech industry experience, with work in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships or Strategy roles

• Experience independently managing strategic and high impact partnerships, including those that require complex product integrations between companies  

• Infectious passion for Twitter with a clear understanding of the Finance data ecosystem

• Proven experience driving large groups of internal stakeholders to consensus to close technical partnerships

• Sharp strategic thinker who can design and execute on a vision with little supervision

• Ability to adapt to and lead through fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments.  

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with an ability to speak in public settings as well as with senior executives
