Revenue Finance provides insight into Twitter’s business using financial models built on strong relationships. We engage directly with both senior management and front-line sales to understand the drivers of Twitter’s revenue and how to optimize that revenue.
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
In this position, you will provide critical financial support and tools to grow Twitter’s Global Content Partner (aka GCP) business. We need someone to:
Build models to identify growth opportunities, evaluate content deals, influence business partners, and drive effective decision making
Design and implement reporting tools for your business partners, including Content Sales, Content Business Development, and GCP Partner Management
Work closely with Sales management to create revenue growth plans and establish financial and operating targets
Work with large data sets, synthesize insights, and present recommendations to senior leadership
Partner with Product, Accounting, Operations, and Legal to help resolve broader business problems
Create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a story focused on insights, not just data
Streamline processes and increase bandwidth within the Revenue Finance team through automation and outsourcing
Who You Are:
Strong technical skills a must (SQL, Tableau, Excel required)
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different functions
Detail-oriented while working across a wide variety of projects
Personable and approachable as we interface with various stakeholders throughout the organization
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle many competing requests
Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. degree with a quantitative focus (i.e. Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, Data Science)
Experience manipulating complex and large data sets (SQL experience required)
Experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards
2+ years of analytical work experience in management consulting, business intelligence, investment banking, analytics, or an equivalent analyst position
Familiarity with basic accounting and finance concepts is a plus
Superior Excel/Google docs and financial modeling skills
Possess a demonstrable grasp of Twitter, mobile (i.e., device and carrier markets), web and media markets
