Company Description
Twitter is seeking a Global Health Security Manager to work closely with the Corporate Security team at both a strategic and operational level to lead the development and implementation of Twitter’s Health Security program. The Health Security program will be responsible for the global development of all health safety management systems as well as safety culture & training globally.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management, including the delivery of global programs.
There will also be a requirement to contribute to programs including events, travel, and all onsite and offsite activities that Twitter engages in.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of annual CorpSec team goals and objectives in line with overall Global Corporate Security OKRs. Where appropriate, they will lead on resulting actions to ensure goals are achieved.
The candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills in order to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description
Lead the Global Health Security program including; COVID-19 & other health security matters. Those may include Safety Policy, Procedure & Training, and Emergency Response Planning.
Ensure the timely provision of critical directions and recommendations where the Health Security program is concerned, including employee safety.
Develop, implement and maintain robust safety systems globally ensuring maximum compliance with regulatory requirements, local laws, industry best practice and international standards.
Build a diverse safety network that promotes a ‘safety culture’ that is transparent and reflective of Twitter's culture
Liaise with appropriate legislative, safety and Governmental authorities on all aspects of safety
Engage with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and agreed approach to the delivery and implementation of all Health Security programs
Advocate for safety planning and strategy by overseeing the continued development of ‘safety culture’ including supporting remote working and other operational aspects as they relate to Twitter’s global footprint
Work proactively with regional Health Security teams to ensure robust response and investigation to Health Security related incidents as reported by leadership, employees, contingent workers and regional / local safety committees. Ensure all corrective actions are implemented.
Support where required Twitter’s BCM team and senior management to plan and deliver on objectives outlined within the program from a Health Security perspective.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience with exposure to a wide range of Health Security / Environmental Health and Safety issues. This can include professional occupational health experience.
Project Management - proven track record in developing programs and implementing projects to an ISO standard.
Third Level Qualification (Masters Degree preferred) in Project Management, Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field with current and practical knowledge of international safety legislation & regulations.
Experience in planning for and dealing effectively with crisis situations.
Experience in managing teams and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Possess and display strong leadership skills.
Experience in a fast paced environment where 24/7 availability is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are.
Excellent report writing and recording skills.
Motivated self-starter who is eager to learn and contribute to multiple safety disciplines.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly in support of CorpSec operations and initiatives.
Possession of a valid passport with no travel restrictions.
