Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for the ongoing management of the health and welfare plans and programs for North America.

  • Lead cross-functional projects to implement changes and new plans and program offerings while driving timelines, aligning key stakeholders, and streamlining operations.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to establish and improve solutions that will enable us to scale as we grow and provide a seamless employee experience.

  • Administer benefit plans, including eligibility, enrollment, vendor management, and support for escalated questions and concerns through an internal ticketing system.

  • Ensure the benefits program administration aligns with company policies, plan documents, and applicable regulations.

  • Lead the annual benefits open enrollment processes, including system updates and the creation and delivery of communication and education materials. 

  • Conduct data audits to ensure processes and policies are being managed effectively, and data quality is maintained/improved within internal and external systems. 

  • Partner with vendors to assist with the global ergonomics program.

  • Manage and update benefits documentation for internal systems and key partners

  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and drive corrections, as needed.

  • Responsible for benefits plan compliance, including federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a related area of study preferred, and 6+ years of related work experience. 

  • Deep knowledge of benefits administration systems required, Workday preferred. 

  • Has extensive compliance experience (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, etc.) and is a subject matter expert in benefits administration. 

  • Has the ability to partner with cross-functional teams and vendors. 

  • Motivated, self-starter with the ability to own tasks and see them through to completion quickly.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to partner with key stakeholders to resolve issues. 

  • Passion for an excellent employee experience.

  • Effective verbal and written communicator. 

  • Works effectively as an individual contributor and also part of a broader team.
