The Accounting team manages the core accounting responsibilities at Twitter.
We are seeking an energetic and proactive Accounting Operations Analyst to assist in supporting business transformation initiatives, monitor operations and oversee business process outsourcing across all aspects of our Accounting operations for Order to Cash and Record to Report.
You are someone who is inquisitive, detail oriented and analytical. You know your accounting principles and have strong working knowledge of accounting processes end to end.
You'll make our processes more efficient and scalable, work to ensure the highest levels of quality are maintained in our day to day operations, and proactively minimize operational risk. Externally, you will collaborate with our business process outsourcing partners and internally, you will collaborate across the multiple teams within Finance as well as other key stakeholders in the business.

Job Description
What You'll Do:
Business Transformation
Participate in key projects and initiatives.
Assist with maintaining and monitoring project deliverables & related documentation.
Organize & coordinate stakeholder meetings: prepare agendas & presentation materials and document meeting minutes & action items.
Assist with developing & launching annual global process & system roadmap.
Operations
Prepare materials and present for quarterly business reviews.
Drive key projects and initiatives.
Assist with metrics preparation, root cause analysis and remediation strategies.
Build, maintain and own a set of standardized dashboards for metrics reporting and prepare monthly insights driven from metrics data.
Partner with data owners and data leaders to drive quality control and enhancements of accounting data.
Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
Collaborate with Twitter Accounting team to optimize BPO model and push rules-based work to BPO provider.
Assist with the annual budget cycle.
Assist with driving global standardization & identifying opportunities to automate.
Assist with establishing & monitoring process-wide global SLAs for BPO teams.
Coordinate annual updates to Accounting desktop procedures (DTPs).

Possess exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team as well as work collaboratively across different functions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or CPA).
3+ years of progressive post qualification experience in accounting/finance, preferably in a multinational environment.
Project management skills.
Knowledge of US GAAP.
Strong information technology skills with expertise in flowcharts, powerpoint, Google suite and excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience of Finance business process transformation.
Project management skills with the ability to work with minimal guidance and in a team environment.
2+ years demonstrable experience with process automation tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, RPA: Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath or similar).
Knowledge of SQL, reporting and analytics.
