Job Description
We are looking for an extraordinary product leader who cares deeply about the quality of software products. At Twitter, the Security, Privacy and Performance teams protect the core quality of all of our platforms (iOS, Android and Web) and each of our new product launches.
Our goal is to allow teams to rapidly prototype and then scale their products to Twitter-scale experiences without degrading performance or introducing new security or privacy risks.
This is a unique opportunity to build out automated systems to catch security, privacy and performance regressions whilst raising the awareness of how to mitigate risk company-wide.
In partnership with a world-class team of distributed engineers, you will be responsible for developing, prioritizing, communicating, and executing on a roadmap that de-risks rapid product delivery at Twitter.
Working closely with your own team, your security, privacy and performance partners as well as consumer product teams, you will help us:
Craft a product strategy to give teams as much autonomy as possible to safely develop new products or maintain existing ones
Help to build, prioritize and execute on the full scope of the Client Security, Privacy and Performance roadmaps
Determine the best ways to measure security, privacy and performance improvements to highlight the quantifiable impact of your team’s work
Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience
Experience in a Safety, Security, Privacy or Performance-related role
In-depth technical understanding of one or more of the following platforms: iOS, Android, Web
A track record of managing large scale, cross-company products in complex customer environments
Experience simultaneously supporting multiple teams that span several geographies
