The Accounting team manages the core accounting responsibilities at Twitter.
We are seeking an energetic and proactive Accounting Operations Analyst to assist in supporting business transformation initiatives, monitor operations and oversee business process outsourcing across all aspects of our Accounting operations for Order to Cash and Record to Report.
You are someone who is inquisitive, detail oriented and analytical. You know your accounting principles and have strong working knowledge of accounting processes end to end.
You'll make our processes more efficient and scalable, work to ensure the highest levels of quality are maintained in our day to day operations, and proactively minimize operational risk. Externally, you will collaborate with our business process outsourcing partners and internally, you will collaborate across the multiple teams within Finance as well as other key stakeholders in the business.

Job Description
What You'll Do:
Operations
Perform month-end close processes, including agreement review, account reconciliation review, and preparing/posting journal entries.
Prepare and present financials to management and support with any ad-hoc requests from cross-functional teams and external auditors.
Document and maintain relevant policies and procedures.
Design & monitor process controls and oversee testing in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
Partner with data owners and data leaders to drive quality control and enhancements of accounting data.
Prepare materials for quarterly business reviews.
Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
Build strong collaborative working relationships with outsourced teams with a focus on driving efficiencies and improving levels of service.
Identify opportunities and implement programs to centralize, eliminate, automate or send out activities to BPO partners.
Assist with establishing & monitoring process-wide global SLAs for BPO teams.
Coordinate annual updates to Accounting desktop procedures (DTPs).
Business Process Transformation
Represent Order to Cash (‘OTC’) in new products and systems implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams including regional controllers, engineering, cross-functional finance teams, and vendors to design and deliver scalable solutions.
Participate in driving the global business process transformation roadmap for new initiatives, encompassing process, tools, controls by collaborating across geographies and teams to align on process requirements.
Participate in key projects and initiatives. Take a data driven approach to recommend solutions to improve new process effectiveness.
Assist with maintaining and monitoring project deliverables & related documentation.
Organize & coordinate stakeholder meetings: prepare agendas & presentation materials.
Assist with developing & launching annual global process & system roadmap for Accounting.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or CPA).
Working knowledge of US GAAP.
Experience executing in a dynamic, high speed and demanding environment by demonstrating organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
Experience working in a cross-functional global environment and building lasting business relationships.
Experience with automation projects (e.g. RPA, Machine Learning).
Experience thinking strategically and connecting the end-to-end process to the strategy of the business.
Experience driving change and improving the end-to-end processes with a proven track record in business process re-engineering and systems analysis.
Demonstrated experience of data analysis, problem-solving and solutions development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience of Finance business process transformation.
Project management skills with the ability to work with minimal guidance and in a team environment.
2+ years demonstrable experience with process automation tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, RPA: Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath or similar).
Knowledge of SQL, reporting and analytics.
