Twitter’s Finance Systems Team is searching for an energetic, motivated and proactive Senior Analyst to join the team! The candidate will support critical priorities for Twitter Finance with an emphasis on CRM systems (including Salesforce and Apttus).

The candidate will be involved with driving and supporting system projects and enhancements of all sizes. The candidate will work with business and IT Engineering to understand current business processes and system environments. The candidate will be engaged in end to end project life cycles including, but not limited to, project requirement gathering and evaluation, stakeholder comms, prioritization and timeline tracking, solution design and build reviews, system impact assessments, UAT planning and execution, solution training strategy and system change deployments.

What You’ll Do:

Drawing from your functional CRM system expertise and robust business acumen, you work with a diverse team to manage system impacting projects from concept to implementation. You handle multiple initiatives in a fast paced environment all while communicating issues, status, and results to stakeholders. You facilitate and drive decision making with stakeholders and are comfortable diving into details without losing sight of overall objectives. You help steer initiatives to the best outcomes.

You think critically, plan and execute effectively and collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and IT Engineering. You nurture positive, professional relationships, acting as a trusted partner and a respectful challenger. You must be a strategic thinker while having the proven ability to work well with large organizations, ensuring consistency across departments and regions.

The ideal candidate has strong functional system expertise with CRM systems (Apttus and Salesforce) and a strong finance business acumen. Other critical attributes are strong understandings of finance systems, finance operations, project management, and finance system implementations. 

  • Drive and support CRM system impacting projects and enhancements of all sizes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and IT engineering across the project life cycle. Shepherd projects end to end while ensuring stakeholder alignment along the way. 

  • Document supporting data and as-is system process flows. Identify gaps and drive consensus to achieve an agreed set of requirements.

  • Understand and communicate to IT engineering a project’s business requirements. 

  • Understand and communicate to stakeholders technical considerations raised by IT engineering including end to end system impacts, dependencies and risks.

  • Drive and review IT engineering solution designs with key stakeholders. 

  • Understand how a project’s requirements and intended solution design fit into the overall finance systems environment. 

  • Collaborate with business and engineering to define scope and strategy of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Drive end to end UATs ensuring quality and clarity.

  • Assess prioritization of and capacity for projects with stakeholders. Strive to meet defined timelines and communicate issues.

  • Perform daily operational activities on projects and enhancements, including monitoring resource needs, preparing documentations, status reports, key issues and/or change controls.

  • Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, schedule and quality on projects.

  • Engage and participate in System / Product selection & evaluation.

  • Support the overall health of finance systems at Twitter through system issue tracking and cross-functional alignment.

Qualifications

  • 4 - 6 years relevant Finance Systems, Finance Operations and/or Program/Project Management experience within Finance or tech.

  • Strong CRM system knowledge (Salesforce and Apttus), including implementation of system functionalities and/or technical solutions. Able to understand both IT engineering and business perspective. Emphasis on CRM system functional expertise with operational finance knowledge a plus.

  • Experience with Database warehouse tools such as Vertica a plus

  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation tools such as Alteryx a plus.

  • Experience with Global Finance operations, project management including, but not limited to, as-is and to-be business process mapping, requirement gathering, solution designing, tracking IT design and development, user acceptance testing, solution deployment and change management activities.

  • Experience developing and executing complex project plans.

  • Proven track record in achieving high performance from internal and external teams.

  • Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills, ability to adapt communication to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong ability to develop clear and concise documentation and presentation material to facilitate discussions / decisions with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strategic thinking, understand the intention and purpose of every task and decision to be made. 

  • Investigative and curious mindset, you seek to understand details and use that knowledge to drive best outcomes.

  • Strong driver and able to work in a fast paced environment. 

  • Knowledge of using G suite (doc, slides, sheets, drive) MS Project ( Excel, MS Word and Visio), Lucidchart, JIRA.

  • Knowledge of SQL, JQL, and/or Python a plus.

Education:

  • BS in business, finance, computer science or related fields 

  • PMP Certification a plus

  • MBA a plus
