Twitter’s Talent Mobility team combines “center of excellence” strategic guidance with operationally-excellent management of Twitter’s flexible work, relocation and immigration programs. We maintain relationships across Twitter with key stakeholders ranging from HR Business Partners, Employment Legal, Corporate Tax, Workplace, Corporate Security, Payroll and others in order to provide holistic mobility solutions. What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will provide thought leadership in the areas of talent mobility, cross-border immigration, taxation and relocation contributing to Twitter’s strategic global talent vision. As the subject-matter expert, this role will be expected to drive strategy and program design that anticipates the future landscape of immigration, taxation and security to drive innovative global talent solutions. You will lead a team of talent mobility and relocation specialists and case managers in their day to day partnerships with HR business partners, talent acquisition, the business, fellow Tweeps and candidates to advise, lead and support the immigration, temporary work location and / or relocation services of new and transferring employees. You will develop and socialize policies, programs and practices in pursuit of a ‘best in class’ talent strategy. This role will cover international, domestic and cross border assignments and experiences, taking into consideration specific business needs and / or candidate situations. This role must be flexible enough to provide the thought leadership and analytic skills to garner necessary support from senior management while simultaneously providing excellent client care and support to all levels of employees and cross functional partners.
You will be responsible for the following:
Ongoing development of strategy and processes to cultivate a best in class talent mobility strategy
Management of day-to-day relationships with key vendors to ensure timely and excellent delivery of service to Twitter
Provide problem resolution to all stakeholders, including candidates, managers, recruiting, finance, tax, equity and payroll
Lead and develop a team of global mobility and relocation specialists and case managers
Communicate with various internal and external resources for the purpose of planning, implementing, monitoring and training on domestic and international transfers and related processes
Develop, implement and evaluate metrics for the Global Immigration and Relocation programs to measure the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the program and provide reports to management
Who You Are:
You are a thought leader in the area of talent mobility or cross-border immigration and can provide both thought leadership and analytical skills
You are a good communicator, able to exchange information and present ideas, report facts in a strategic, clear and concise manner
You are a partner to the business. You understand the various business line nuances in order to effectively advise on appropriate mobility solutions (based on business need, candidate flexibility, cost considerations and equitable treatment of employees)
You have excellent project management skills and can develop, scope, lead and drive various projects, as needed
You develop, foster and grow professional and consultative relationships at all levels
You are a critical thinker who is able to assess information, anticipate issues and outcomes, and provide innovative, flexible solutions to complex and unique problems
You are highly collaborative with an ability to work in true partnership with clients, stakeholders and senior management
Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required
Successful track record of partnering and developing deep working relationships with all levels of clients and stakeholders (senior HR, business leaders, recruiters, etc.)
Advocate for a remarkable employee experience
Ability to approach mobility with an innovative lens that strategically supports business development, growth and change in various emerging and developed markets
International work experience is a significant advantage
Experience with U.S. and global employment-based immigration visas and regulations and permanent residency processes (example visa types: F-1 OPT, J-1, H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1, PERM and Global visas)
Relocation and/or Mobility Tax experience
Strong implication-thinking skills and strategic problem-solving ability
7-10 years of relevant experience (at least 3 years corporate in-house global mobility experience)
