Job Description

You can't manage what you don't measure, and this team’s mission is to make sure Twitter’s leadership team has the measurements they need to make the best decisions possible. As Twitter’s platform and business continually evolve, you will be essential in cutting through the noise and helping the executive team focus on what matters most. 

The Business Intelligence Engineering team within Data Science is responsible for providing the consumer product’s executive team with timely, accurate and actionable information about the state of Twitter’s business. In this role, you will develop, own and drive the improvement of several critical reporting assets, such as data visualizations, dashboards and regular business review meetings, and you will partner with our central strategy data science group to understand and analyze how Twitter grows and changes. This is a high visibility, high impact role with a great deal of opportunity to influence the direction of the company.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a quantitative or analytical role
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Previous experience working with a BI tool (Tableau, Looker, Mode, etc.)
  • Strong communication and data visualization skills
  • Previous experience with ETL and building data pipelines preferred
