The Core Ads Engineering team has an incredibly large part to play in the company's ambitious goal to hit $10b in total revenue and we’re looking to grow our Engineering teams across the internal pillars to help drive our internal execution, vision, culture and fun. We are looking for partners to help scale the org; to be principled, engaging, and up-level teams.

Job Description

Come help us scale our Core Ads Engineering Business and you’ll have autonomy, ownership and impact. The overall team is growing at a rapid rate, and we expect significant growth as we continue to grow our revenue impact and product execution.

Current openings:

SWE I - Sr. SWE: Performance Ads: The team is responsible for building products which meet the needs of advertisers aiming to grow their businesses through direct-response advertising. Today, we achieve results for advertisers across multiple channels via our Website Traffic & Conversions and App Install products. 

SWE II - Sr. SWE: Ads Customer Experience:  CEA team owns the majority of the web applications and APIs that comprise ads.twitter.com to enable frictionless user experience for advertisers. The primary areas of focus include Campaign building, optimization, and management and Creative creation and management

Sr. SWE: Audience & Measurement EXperience (AMEX):  Audience & Measurement Experience (AMEX) is a fullstack team that owns and develops advertiser experience of targeting features, audience management, and measurement products. We aim to provide efficient and refined experiences for Twitter’s customers to target their intended audiences and measure the performance of their campaigns and objectives. 

Qualifications

  • Experience building full stack products in a large scale environment
  • 5+ Experience with Java, Scala, or other JVM languages
  • 5+ years of experience building React or JavaScript web applications.
    • We have openings at different levels (SWE 2 - Staff SWE)
  • Strong Algorithms, data structures, coding, and distributed systems experience

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$128,000.00 - USD$179,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
