Job Description

As a Strategy and Operations Manager, you will be a member of the Global Content Partnerships (GCP) revenue strategy and operations team and looked to as a leader in the organization. You will build and execute core operational processes - such as business strategy & planning, reporting, and business operations management. You will take up broad-spectrum special projects ranging from operationalizing product launches, improving health and safety processes, designing resource allocation models, and performance reporting. You will work very closely with GCP and Global Strategy & Operations leadership to quickly understand issues and implement solutions.

Core responsibilities:

Industry Expertise

  • Be a content expert, staying fully up-to-date on the state of the industry, trends, challenges, key players, representation on other platforms, and major industry events

  • Conduct strategic industry market insights and analysis including competitive landscape analysis to help formulate go to market plans specific to your region

  • Actively participate in building annual strategy and quarterly plans with your teams

  • Become a trusted adviser and advocate on behalf of your team with Product/Marketing/Sales, ensuring input in product development, marketing activations, and sales pipeline execution

Revenue Acceleration

  • Understand the world’s biggest publishers and creators, and what it would take to increase their investment or bring them onboard

  • Identify and steer global initiatives that are aligned to, and critical for, the region that you support 

  • Contribute to opportunity identification and internal alignment on product enhancement and development that would accelerate revenue in the vertical 

  • Contribute to regional partner strategies to unlock deeper partnerships and increased revenue in the short and long term

Operational Efficiency

  • Drive operational logistics including setting and measuring progress against goals and assisting in key team/management meetings

  • Develop analytical frameworks, tools, and techniques to plan and communicate short and long term resource needs for the region

  • Work with cross functional partners (sales teams, product, finance, HR) to ensure successful execution of key projects, while continually finding opportunities for ongoing program and process/system improvements and enhancements.

  • Help find opportunities to improve content team efficiencies, and lead efforts to scale standard methodologies globally

  • Develop, lead & manage dashboards on key revenue, pipeline, and content performance metrics

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years experience in the content ecosystem and familiarity with publishers and creators

  • Strong experience in project management and PMO tasks, consulting experience a plus

  • Deep passion for Twitter and content

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and set expectations to drive desired results

  • A bias to #CareMore attitude embodied by a desire to go above and beyond while easily navigating complex business challenges

  • Analytical thinker and structured problem solver

  • Experience researching and manipulating complex and large data sets

  • Strong working knowledge and skills in spreadsheet and presentation software

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfort working in ambiguity with a bent towards fast execution and iteration

  • Familiar with SQL or any other form of database querying language a plus

  • Bonus: MBA/MS or equivalent with specialization in marketing, finance, mathematics, business or related field
