Our Business Resource Groups (BRGs) - and the leaders who lead them - are core to this effort, and your work will be at the center of it all. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • You will be the point person for all things BRGs and Affinity Groups -- responsible for managing our existing 11 global BRGs and fielding, evaluating, and launching requests for new ones. 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor & resource for ~60 BRG Global Chairs and establish a regular meeting cadence.

  • Develop and execute the BRG leadership application process, including the on-boarding and off-boarding of BRG Chairs.

  • Ensure there is a cohesive global strategy and implement an operating framework across all BRGs, including the development and documentation of all BRG documents and budget management. 

  • Oversee and manage BRG Chair compensation, performance evaluation & recognition standards.

  • Keep the Managers of our BRG Chairs up-to-date on key programming, performance, and compensation through a manager toolkit. 

  • Oversee the management and growth of #TwitterTeamUp with the goal of bringing the cultural insights across our BRGs closer to where decisions are made in the business.

  • Streamline Executive and Leadership engagement outreach across BRGs.

  • Build operational excellence around the ways in which Tweeps sign up for and participate in BRG-driven programs, including measures of engagement and growth.

  • Manage and develop guidelines for BRG Google Group email alias communications processes. 

  • Manage the BRG Project Manager, who is responsible for driving tentpole month activations.

  • You understand structural and systemic inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility work and have experience working with and/or understanding of historically excluded communities

  • You are passionate and a positive teammate who consistently executes successful, polished programs

  • You are comfortable working closely with senior executives and can manage a cross functional decision-making group with ease

  • You possess good judgement, makes right on-brand decisions when called for, and knows when to seek approval

  • You communicate effectively; you are a good listener, give/take clear direction verbally and have strong writing and speaking skills

  • You can work independently, but are eager to collaborate and support others

  • You often calmly solve unforeseen situations as they arise

  • You are a fast-learner, who can quickly adapt to new tools and technologies, as well as

  • changing environments and priorities

  • You are an active and contributing member in our team’s creative think tank

You are highly organized, detail focused, results-driven, ability to handle stress and last-minute, urgent requests

Additional Information

Reports to the Head of I&D Programs on Twitter’s Inclusion and Diversity team.
